    My Poodle Has Been In Labor For 11 Hours. Is This Common? She Has No Signs Of Distress

    She has passed one water sack and the fluid afterward was grass green but now is clear but still no pups but she is drinking water

    It is highly unusual that 11 hours should pass between the time her water broke and delivery of a pup.I would definitely call a vet clinic or ER and discuss it with a DVM.  The lochia is a dark greenish fluid that is usually delivered with or just prior to first pup. Generally, the first pup should be born within
    6 hours of the onset of obvious labor, and the interval between puppies is
    usually 5-60 minutes but it could be  be as long as 3 hours without it being abnormal depending on the
    mother.
