Have Genetically Modified Foods Been Designed To Be Wholesome?

Foods may be designed to be wholesome or not wholesome. It depends on the motivating factor/s and, or, the motive/s or aim/s intended to be achieved. Foods that cause, could cause, have caused, or may cause terminal diseases and, or immune system devastation, and, or death, in the short term or long term, cannot be designed and, or, intended for the eradication of hunger/poverty. Therefore, they cannot be inherently wholesome. Foods that are designed to give health and, or, promote health and, or, promote longevity would be intended to eradicate hunger/poverty, hence inherently wholesome.

My information is that GM foods have been designed to be high yield and disease resistant, for economic reasons. There is no pressure on the companies that produce them to ensure they are nutritiously better than non-GM. IF they were better nutritionally I am sure the companies would have been shouting about it - but they have not.

Yes, you must understand that the foods are genetically designed for the wholesome. It is due to the fact that if a food is not inherently wholesome it would not eradicate the hunger and poverty in proper way.
