Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The Oxford dictionary has defined shock as "a sudden upsetting or even a surprising experience". It is also defined as "a serious medical condition that is caused due to loss of blood or even severe injury. It also gives a feeling of a sudden discharge of electricity all through the body".

Shock is also considered to be a kind of medical condition wherein the tissue perfusion is considered to be insufficient in order to meet the requirements of oxygen as well as nutrients. A shock can also lead to various other medical emergencies such as hypoxia or cardiac arrest.
