How Do You Make A Plain Cake?

To make a plain and simple cake all you need is 1 ¾ cup all-purpose flour, 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup Crisco, 1/2 cup milk, 2 unbeaten eggs, 1/4 cup milk, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 tsp. butter flavouring and Few drops yellow food colouring.

To start with mix all the first 6 ingredients and mix for 2 minutes. Next, mix all the remaining ingredients and mix for around 2 minutes. Pour the mixture into greased and floured loaf or 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake it for around 45 minutes at 325 degrees. Dish up plain or you can also add some fresh fruit and whipped cream.

We'll go to the store and buy a box of cake mix, then take it home and do what the instructions say. Its quite easy. (and fun)
