Whilst it may sound stupid, people can, and they do actually become addicted to their mobile phones. This is especially true in younger people such as teenagers. Studies have recently shown that when mobile phones were taken away from various people, they became agitated and irritable. This is a classic sign of addiction, just like when an alcoholic is giving up drink and they become frustrated and angry.

It is thought that it is because these days, more and more people are reliant upon their mobile phones to communicate with each other. Text messages are especially handy and it is so simple to just send a text saying that you are going to be home late or if you would like to meet up with somebody. When you don't have your mobile with you, it takes more effort to communicate and people do get frustrated. Very strange, yet very true!

Yes people can get addicted to mobile phones. This is pretty stupid considering they are only meant to make phone calls. People that are addicted to mobile phones are the people you see wondering around the streets texting in their hoodies and their face buried in the screen of the mobile.

Yes! People get more addicted to phone because of it fastest means of communicating with people and its easy accessible and more so youth get more addicted to it because they do catch all sort of fun from it most especially playing game on it.
