If A Roommate Vacates The Unit Due To Court Documents Are They Required To Still Pay For The Month They Lived In The Unit?
Three tenants rent and sign lease two are boyfriend and girlfriend they have a physical dispute and the female gets a restraint against the guy and takes that document from the courts to the landlord and they take her off of the lease is she still required to pay for the month because she left on the 25th of the month
Answers
Yes she would have to pay for the month she lived in the house. This is because only 5 or 6 days were left for the month to over, and she had lived for the entire 25 days. She is required to pay for the month or at least for the 25 days she lived with you guys.
