Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity or change in velocity over a period of time. When a body is moving with a specific speed and if the speed of the body is increased or decreased then it is known as acceleration. From the question you have asked, I am assuming that 234,000 is the acceleration of the moving body. If this is the case then it may mean that the change in the velocity of the body is 234,000 per unit time square. The unit of acceleration is meter per second square.
Note: Velocity is the speed in a particular direction
