Why Can Venus Not Get Energy From The Sun?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Venus can not receive energy from the sun because of an over abundance of sulfuric clouds that envelope the entire planet. Even though this is the case Venus remains the hottest planet in the solar system because the sunlight that does get through is trapped on Venus due to fact that the atmosphere is 96% carbon dioxide, the main greenhouse gas.
