Why Is London A Fashion Capital?

In the past few years London has grown along the side of Milan and Paris and taken over as the fashion capital of the world. It is home to some of the world best designers including Thomas Burberry, Stella Mc Cartney and Alexander McQueen. Its has its own fashion gala and fashion weeks that happen every now and then which play an important role in setting the fashion trends for the following seasons. One of the most famous locations in London is King's Road which had been seen as one of the most important fashion location in the whole of Europe.

London also houses the Victoria and Albert Museum which is one of the very few prestigious fashion museums in the world today. A number of world famous models such as Kate Moss is also a British.
