Has Any Else Had Problems With The Birth Control Depo-Perva?

Depo-Provera is a progestone compound that can be implanted subdermally or injected intramuscularly to prevent ovulation for a period of five years or 23 months respectively
Its effect may vary from woman to woman.Ovulation is the monthly release of the egg from the primary follicle during the secretory phase of the menstruation cycle. This egg then after wards fuses with the sperm and this leads to the fertilization of the gametes
if the ovulation stops occurring then the chances of the fertilization or pregnancy are completely diminished or in other words there are no chances of fertilization as there would be an absence of the egg that fuses with the egg that in turn leads to the fertilization

Its effects generally vary from person to person. Like there may be malimplantation that in turn leads to the pregnancy. Or it might not function well in some bodies.Generally it functions well because it stops the root cause of pregnancy as it stops ovulation or the monthly release of the egg from the primary follicles so the question of the pregnancy is totally ruled out.

I had a hard time with depo, it made me moody and I got pregnant with my daughter while on it and I had SEVERE abdominal pain for the first four weeks of the pregnancy. A couple of my friends were on Depo for years. They are both having a hard time concieving now. I will never use it again.

I was on the Depo injection. I had a lot of problems, including tiredness and moodiness. I got pregnant with my daughter while on the shot. I had SEVERE cramping for the first four months of my pregnancy. A couple of my friends who where also on the Depo injection had a hard time becoming pregnant after stopping the shot. One had conceived, but it has taken her 2 years of timing and trying. I will never use it again.
