My Dwarf Hamsters Are Acting Weird Lately But They Seem Like They Are Trying To Make Babies So If They Are How Long Until The Mother Goes In To Labor?
 From what I just looked up, it seems that they might be trying to mate. I guess that the gestation time is usually about 18-21 days, so in 2&1/2 to 3 weeks, you should have baby hamsters. Be sure to remove the male before she has the litter, as she will be very aggressive with him. They generally have the litter in the evening, the middle of the night, and sometimes in the morning. my daughter was given a campbell`s russian that was born on 3/23. on 4/24 she gave birth to 8 babies that have all survived and are doing fine. how is this possible????? |
My daughter was given a hamster that was born on 3/23/08. It gave birth to a litter of 8 on 4/24/08. She is a campbell`s russian. How is this possible? The babies are two weeks now and all have survived and doing fine. |
