London is quite a diverse city, showcasing a wide-range of religions, ethnicities and tradition. There are more than 300 different languages represented through the inhabitants of the city. Offering many tourist attractions, London is home to the world-famous Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, the London Eye, St. Paul's Cathedral, as well as the Crown Jewels. Museum lovers will enjoy the selection within the city, including the National Gallery and the British Museum.
When traveling throughout the city, you will encounter many different districts, such as Bloomsbury, Whitechapel and Mayfair. To explore the main shopping and entertainment arena, tourists usually head for the West End, where Oxford Street, Leicester Square, as well as Piccadilly Circus can be found. The more affluent areas are positioned within areas, such as Kensington, Chelsea, as well as Notting Hill, which later became the title of a popular Julia Roberts flick.
Some of the most popular and covered points of interest throughout the city includes Westminster Abbey and the Palace of Westminster, where key sights, such as Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament can be enjoyed. Another popular attraction is Buckingham Palace, which serves as the official London home base for the Queen. A tour of the premises is allowed during the summer season.

If you are young and want a lively holiday then I would suggest you go to Blackpool where there is a huge funfair and a load of bars which during the summer months can get very rowdy. Also a lot of strip bars as well. There is very likely to be trouble during the nights in Blackpool as it does have a bit of a reputation. But having said that it is also a very nice place to visit.
If you would like a quieter holiday then I would suggest you go to Devon, Torquay or Llandudno which is a beautiful welsh resort. If yo go onto google and put these places in then you will find out a lot more about them. Personally I would steer clear of London as it is one huge rip off and can be very dangerous place, not only in the evening but also during the day as pickpocket gangs target the holidaymakers and this is a very common sight especially in Oxford Street where there is a police team just to deal with the pickpocketers alone. Do not trust anyone who may have just breezed past you and hardly touched you as you have probably been robbed.
