Families of soldiers have spoken out in many fronts regarding the unjustified war and its cruel consequences. They have condemned Bush also.

Not all families are condeming our President. I am the wife of an Apache pilot who has been deployed twice. Yes it was hard, we have three children and he was gone for more than 2 and 1/2 years all together. My husband believed in what he was doing and he said the majority of the other soldiers do as well. There are so many things that our media doen't report. They only report the negative. So many people here in the states only know what they see on the news and have no idea what's really going on over there. Surely you've noticed the major decline in news reports on Iraq in general. We all know that there is still plenty going on. With our liberal media, you will not see any story that doesn't paint a horrible picture. We all know that war is TERRiBLE. I didn't want to send the man I love and the father of my children to war. He didn't want to leave his family behind. He did his duty with honor as have so many other brave men and women. I'm so glad that we have so many that are willing to stand up for the rest of us. We should all take the time to thank a soldier. There are plenty of them out there from the Iraq war and previous wars that would appreciate it. We get so caught up in the politics that we forget the lives that are directly affected!

I know about this one first hand. My little brother is a marine and he just got home from Iraq about a month ago. This by the way was his 2nd tour. Everyday I watched CNN to see about deaths in Iraq. Every night I thought about him and was on edge all the time. I think the first night of really good sleep I got was the night I knew he was out of Iraq and on his way home! You never know the fear that comes with knowing someone you love is in danger! I am so glad he is home and hopefully never going back!
