Right click the picture. Then go to EDIT. The picture will open with PAINT. On paint go to IMAGE then click on STRETCH SKEW. Reduce the options of HORIZONTAL and VERTICAL to 70 % or as required. Save changes. Then attach the picture to email.
Instead of saving that picture in the reduced form, use Save As... and give it a different name (e.g. picture-sml) and use that in your e-mail. You lose a lot of details when you reduce a pcture, which you might like to have when you want to print it later.
Best way is to use Photoshop. Go to Image, Image Size. Change the photo size to 2x2 inches at 300 resolution. Click Save For Web and save it as a jpg file.
If you are using Windows XP you can download "Image Resizer Powertoy for XP" from the Microsoft website. Then you just right click a picture and choose resize from the menu.
Attach the picture to a new blank word document. Then click on the picture. It should put a new toolbar on the screen. Look through the buttons and look for eighther crop or reside. Crop lets you cut some of the picture off to make it small. Resize, well.... Resizes it! Hope this helped!
