    Latin America comes under the region of the Americas where Latin languages are mainly spoken, these languages include; Portuguese, French and Spanish.  In Latin America these languages are officially or primarily spoken. Latin America is very different from Anglo America; the region where the main language spoken is English.
    There are a total of 20 countries that come under Latin America. Latin America consists of 4 dependencies. The largest cities in Latin America are; Mexico, Buenos Aires, Lima, Bogotá, Santiago, Rio de Janeiro and Caracas.  It is believed that Latin America was first inhabited by the people who first crossed the Bering Land Bridge.
