Can A Certain Smell Make A Dog Go # 2?
Is it true that certain smells can make a dog go # 2 if you put them in a area outside?
Answers
I believe if a dog smells feces the dog will then defecate.♥

I've house trained many dogs. Putting their feces outside for them to smell is one way to get them to go #2 again. Of course give them lots of praise.

Sounds like you are trying to get your dogs to urinate defecate in a specific area of the yard. Definitely placing their feces in that area and leaving them there for awhile will help reinforce that this is there bathroom area. While you are training take the dogs to the yard on a leash and walk around the bathroom area until they urinate or defecate then give praise and treats. Repetition and consistency are the keys to training dogs. This will be a several week process for you.
Most dogs will need to defecate 30-60 minutes after eating so this is a good time to take them out to the bathroom area. Some pets stores sell pheromone (natural chemical) sticks that you can place in the yard to encourage urination and defecation in certain spots.
