What Is The Total Resistance In Series/parallel? R1=500 R2=500 R3=250 R4=250

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

    1/(1/500 + 1/500 + 1/250 + 1/250) = 250/3 = 83 1/3 is the resistance of R1-R4 all in parallel.
    500 + 500 + 250 + 250 = 1500 is the total resistance of R1-R4 all in series.
If you have some other arrangement, the resistance will be between these values.
