    Murrayfield Statdium is located in Murrayfield, Edinburgh, Scotland. The Stadium with a seating capacity of 67,500 people is considered to be the home of Scottish rugby. It is a name to reckon with throughout the rugby world. The Scottish Football Union (SFU) had purchased some land and constructed the first Murrayfield Stadium which opened to the public on March 21, 1925. Nowadays the stadium is generally used for most of the Scottish international rugby union matches. Commencing in 2007, Murrayfield will be playing host to the Scotland Sevens, which is the final event in rugby sevens in the yearly IRB Sevens World Series. It will also be hosting some of the 2007 Rugby World cup matches. Apart from rugby union, football and American football is sometimes played in the staduim. Many key rock artists like Red Hot Chili Peppers and U2 have performed in this stadium.
