    Logan or Mount Logan is the name of the highest mountain in Canada. It is a part of the Saint Elias Mountains. It is based in the south-western Yukon Territory in Canada. It is also the second-highest peak in North America after Denali in Mount McKinley. This mountain gets its name from a Canadian geologist and the founder of the Geological Survey of Canada, Sir William Edmund Logan. The Kluane National Park and Reserve is situated surrounding Mt Logan. Hubbard and Logan Glaciers originate from Mt Logan.

    It boasts of being the largest base circumference of any mountain on earth. This mountain was formed as a result of tectonic uplifting and is still growing in height or elevation. It was 19,850 feet high as per a very recent statistic. It is very cold near the mountain. A.H. MacCarthy, H.F. Lambart, A. Carpe, W.W. Foster, N. Read and A. Taylor were the pioneers who climbed Mt Logan on June 23, 1925.
