This Question Is Answered:
Is It Legal For Your Employer To Not Pay You On Time For The Reason Being Punishing Some Of The Other Employees?
I work in a retirement home in the kitchen. I am the kitchen manager. My employer is trying to get license for assisted living and in order to do so there was a list that needed to be done before state came back again in order to pass. Some of the things weren't done and when state came back my employer who lives out of town and just came in that morning for inspection was embarrassed by it. So he stated he wasn't going to pay us tomorrow due to what happen.

If it is a registered business, he can not do that. You can even take action against him. But otherwise, it depends on the state you live in and the specific regulations. You better check it out
