Who Is Robert Crumb?

Robert Dennis Crumb (natural August 30, 1943), often ascribed simply as R. Crumb, is an American artiste and illustrator standard for the distinctive manner of his drawings and his significant, ironic, subversive view of the American ordinary. He at this time lives in France.

Crumb was a creator of the subversive comix movement and is regarded as its most prominent figure. Though one of the most celebrated of comic book artists, Crumb's entire career has outspread outside the conventional comedian book publishing manufacturing. One of his most recognized works is the Keep on Truckin' sketch, which became an extensively dispersed fixture of explode civilization in the 1970s. Others are the font Devil Girl, Fritz the Cat.
