New born pets refused by their mothers are difficult to take care of.You have to extra cautious of the cat.Because if pushed too far the mother cat can resort to killing it's own child.

What you can do is that for first few days u can feed the cat with some cow's milk mixed with water just to make it easy to digest.( and use a baby feeding bottle for that). With in a couple of week the young cat will be able to intake it's own food and then u can reduced the amount of water in the milk.

If the kitten has been abandoned by its mother, then you'll want to keep the kitten warm. Put it on a heating pad with a towel over it (so the kitten doesn't get too cold).

If you can take the kitten to a vet, please do. The vet can show you how to feed the kitten and can also give you some formula to mix with water. Cow's milk is not good for kittens. You can also get kitten formula at a pet store. Follow the directions on the container to mix it correctly. If you cannot get to a pet store, try goat's milk.

If this kitten is just a day or so old, then it will need to be fed about every 3 hours around the clock, even in the middle of the night. You'll have to decide if you are ready for that kind of commitment. Perhaps you have roommates or family members who would take turns. The kitten will need this kind of care for three or four weeks, and then it can eat and drink pretty much on its own.

      Good luck!
