Is There Any Food I Can Add To My Diet To Make My Eyes Less Dry And Irritated?
I work on computers most of the day, and I drive to work each day which takes an hour each way. I think my eyes are feeling the stress and they are dry and tired a lot lately. I dont really like using eye drops, is there any food I can add to my diet to create more moisturise in my eyes?

You can try adding more essential oils to your diet..the best way, of course, is thru the foods you eat - mainly the oily fish like sardines, etc...YUK I say...lol anyway, I have dry eyes and dry mouth...for the eyes, my eye Dr. Recommended Refresh Liqigel drops; their ingredients break down into your system as if it were your own tears, and they can be used as often or as little as you like... I know you said you don't like eyedrops - I don't either! But I use them now, 2 x a day, and for the rest of my life!! Could be worse!! LOL :D
But try taking Flax oil capsules, or Omega 3 and Omega 6 capsules...also, wear sunglasses most of the time, esp. When driving - and try to remember the old rule of blinking your eyes whenever you think of it - blinking keeps the moisture moving around on your eyes!! Also, while on the computer, remember to look up, and away, as far in to the distance as you can, then blink a few times, then go back to your keyboard....remember that you should look down a little on the computer screen; it should not be level with your eyes!!!
Hope some of this helps!!!!!! Good luck.....

Thanks for the tips, I especially didn't know that about the computer screen, mine is above my eye line! I'm moving it down now before I go home this afternoon. I will look for those flax oil capsules. Thanks again!
I get my supplements from Puritan's Pride...have been for the last 25 years!! They manufacture their own products and they are always fresh, and they always have great sales!!! Right now they have one where you buy 2 and get 3 FREE, as well as buy 1, get one free....Check their site at puritanspride.com...sorry to sound like a commercial!! But it's at least worth a look.....and your poor eyes on that too-high computer screen!! LOL...just remember, you should be looking slightly down on the screen, and not bending your head too far down!!!! Good luck...
