Do I Need To Go To The Docs With Conjunctivitis Or Can I Just Go To Boots?

Boots offers several products including eye drops, medication, eye relaxation formulas and eye washes which are generally supposed good for eye care. But conjunctivitis can be caused due to viral, bacterial, or allergic reasons. Using an eye drop meant for viral or bacterial infections would not cure an allergic reaction which may continue recurring unless the source of the allergy is isolated. A proper diagnosis is needed to treat the ailment. A doctor may be more successful in isolating the exact nature of the infection.

Certain anti-allergens can be used if they are known to be effective when treating an allergy caused by a known factor. In certain cases an infection could be the outcome of using a cosmetic or cream manufactured by Boots itself or any other company.
