    6 - 2 + 10*22

    First you do the exponentiation 22=4
    6 - 2 + 10*4

    Then you do the multiplication
    6 - 2 + 40

    Then you add from left to right
    (6 - 2) + 40 = 4 + 40 = 44

      I got 56. I don't know algebra but I worked it out this way. 6 -2 =4. Add 10 =14 2 squared is 4 so 14 x by 4 = 56.  :)
