Where Can I Find Cheap DVDs In The UK?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Put simply, there are two places you can buy DVDs in the UK. You can buy DVDs online and offline and this article will tell you the cheapest way for both places. If you are buying a DVD in a shop it will generally be more expensive due to the overheads (cost of running the shop) so for newly released DVDs, you will find they are up to £10 more than online. However, there are exceptions to this rule. If you go to the big supermarket chains on the week of release, you can often find newly released DVDs for around £9.99.

If you want to buy online, then things get a lot more complicated since there are dozens of sites which sell DVDs. Your best bet would be to use a price comparison site to find the best price DVDs. A good example would be www.theplaypad.com as it is impartial, free and very easy to use, and because it searches all the major online DVD sites. Be aware that you may have to pay for postage from online sites, but The Play Pad factors this into the calculation.
