The ICC is completely failing to organize such a mega event of the world tightly as far as security of teams are concerned in my opinion. If the coach of any playing nation or a player dies in that manner as Bob Woolmer fashion then the ICC immediately stops this mega event but they fail to do so. There is no excuse remaining for the ICC that security of players and coaches is not tightened. This is ICC's worst ever World Cup as organizers. But they still think this should not happen in the next world cup..............hope for the best.

This question is of most vital importance for today's sports. Australia, England and India have refused to visit Pakistan due to security reasons and ICC have not played any role in this case, but now it has happened during the ICC world cup 2007 tournament and reflected great lapse in security arrangements.
In my opinion ICC should be held responsible if it is murder and should face the consequences. As ICC is responsible for the security of all the players, team managers and coaches so that must be held reliable for this intolerable act. I would suggest that there should be an extensive inquiry on this case of murder and the criminal should face the trial.
Another problem that occurred as a consequence to this incident is that media of the world is raising the finger towards Pakistan team, where as they should know that it was not their responsibility to provide security to their coach.
Therefore we need to see this incident in broader spectrums; we need to analyze the reasons and solutions of this sad and shocking incident that has changed player's perception about the game of cricket. ICC must consult some proper Security agencies for this kind of tournaments or it should ask the corresponding country to bring their own security and ICC should bear the expenses.
