Salisbury is a Cathedral City in Southern England and it dates from the Iron Age when is was called Sorviodunum. It has been occupied at various times in history by the Saxons, Normans and Romans and anyone coming from these parts in the past when asked who they were would say John from Salisbury – Jean Van Salisbury.
