I'm not sure which wire to connect the blue wire to, since there is no red wire in the junction box?

The wires in your junction box should be white and black. If you have a two way switch you might even see a red wire, but it should be hooked to a black wire in the box already. Like I said in the other answer the blue wire is for your light kit for the fan. If you have no light on your fan you don't need to hook the blue wire to anything.

Extra bedroom ceiling fan and light come with the wall switch in master bedroom,not with switch in bedroom where fan and light are,
