Who Is Nymphadora Tonks?

Nymphadora Tonks is a comic character in Harry Potter. Harry's first meeting with Tonks is at his uncle's house in Privet Drive, Surrey. She, along with a number of other wizards, comes to rescue Harry from his aunt and uncle's house. In fact, she was the one who wrote a letter to the Dursley's saying that they had won a garden competition, telling them to go to a faraway place for collecting their prize, giving the wizards a chance to rescue and take away Harry without letting the Dursleys know

Nymphadora Tonks is a young witch, and prefers people to use her surname only.
Tonks is a Metamorphmagus, which means that she can change her appearance at will. She is thin and tall, with a heart shaped face and usually likes her hair short, pink and spiky (though she sometimes changes them to purple).

Tonks has an emotional breakdown in the sixth year that is, Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince, and quite unexpectedly, Tonks and Lupin end up together. It turns out that Tonks' emotional breakdown had been because of Lupin, who, at first thought he was too old and dangerous for her.

Mite i add that in deathly hallows the last book.

Tonks and lupin get married have a baby named teddy lupin and harry is godfather and then right at the end at the big battle, tonks and lupin are both found dead its very upsetting having just had a baby, who lupin was very upset about as he thought he had cursed him with being a werewolf like himself , but teddy turns out to be a metamorphmagus like his mum.

Teddy is then reaised by his grandma tonks mum as her dad is also killed in the book.

In the epilogue Harry's child spots teddy on the hogwarts express kissing someone called victoire who jk later told us in a interview turns out to be bill weasley and fleur delacours daughter!

tonks is one of the cousine of sirius black.she gets married to lupin.they have a baby teddy.who is looked after by harry after their death.
