Depends.  If you have children and she has the children then you will have to pay child support.  Also you will have to pay your attorney fees or try to get the Court to order that she pay them.  You can file an indigent affidavit when filing your papers which means you will not have to pay the filing fee to file the divorce papers which will save some money.  Before the divorce is granted, everything you are responsible for and everything she is responsible for is put in a separation agreement which is attached to the divorce papers.  The judge will rule at the hearing that the divorce is final.  If you can't afford an attorney, find one that accepts payments or see LegalAid but there may be a wait for LegalAid.  Most attorney will see you for a free consultation so you can tell them your problems and they will quote you a price.  You are not bound to hire that attorney unless you want to and you will have the information you need.  I know, I work for a divorce attorney.
