I have a Toshiba laptop with a built in web cam. It shuts off after a few minutes and then it tells me when I try to connect again that there is no web cam connected. Why does it do this and how do I fix this problem. Thank you,

The possible reason is that your web cam is not properly installed. I would like to give you three suggestions for it.
-Uninstall the web cam driver and reinstall it
- If still the problem persists then reinstall your operating system.
- Thirdly you should also check for any virus threat. May be the virus is preventing the cam from displaying properly.
