Reasons Why Self Defence Is A Reason Why Death Penalty Is Wrong?

Answer Question

A lot of people assume that self defence is a way of getting off with murder, however, if you were a victim of crime, the law says you can defend your self, but by using reasonable force only. If the person did not have a weapon to threaten you, you would have to use Reasonably force to hold him until the police gets to you, either by locking the person in a cellar, if you can that is. When our Lives are in danger, it is difficult to think about what the law says. All you want to do is to protect your self and some times we can go over the mark. If you defend your self to prevent the person from harming you, and you have the right to hold that person, if you can until the police arrives, but then again, thats not always possible.

If you kill some one during the time you found them in your home after the break in, you will have to have very strong evidence that you had reasons to kill that person. So it would have to be that the person who had broken into your home had a gun and you fear they would shoot you, then you would probably be able to get off nd not go to prison. So if the court decided that it wa in self defence, then they would give that person the death penalty.
