I'm Coughing Up Blood During My Period, What Could It Be?
For the past 5 months or so I've been coughing up blood during my period only. The day before I get it and the first day of my period. I have bad cramps and lower back pain. I went to the er last month and they took x rays and ran blood tests but everything came back fine. I don't know what's wrong but hopefully one of you might have a idea or know someone. Thanks!

Vomiting blood during periods is one of the signs of pre menstrual syndrome. Other signs include breast tenderness, fever, fatigue, dizziness, edema, body aches, cankers, headaches and emotional disorders. Changes in diet and aerobic exercise can help you. Don't take any NSAID pain killers. Nutritional supplement like Vitamin B6, calcium, magnesium are also recommended. You should discuss this with your doctor.

I did, they kept me in for the whole night then I was sent home
Honestly this problem is a new one for me. Please see your Doctor. This coughing up blood may not be directly related to your periods. Blood from the lowere torso which has its own enclosed passageway should have no effect on what comes via your mouth. When this occurs again visit your Doctor as it is happening. He will probably want a chest x ray and complete blood count. Anytime you see blood from the mouth and you dont have a nose bleed or bleeding gums, take that red flag to the Doctor quick!

It is Parenchymal endometriosis. You need to see a gyno who has actually heard of them because most of them have not. I have this disease.
