When I Moved Into My Apartment Almost 5 Years Ago, I Paid First And Last Months Rent Plus A Security Deposit. I Recently Gave 30 Days Notice Because I Have Purchased A Home. My 6 Month Least Agreement Is Not Up Until The End Of August. Due To The Purchase Am I Able To Break My Lease Without A Penalty Of Having To Pay For July And August Rent?

My lease is not up until August, but I gave my landlord 30 days written notice that I would be moving at the end of June, because I purchased a home. Does the law in Colorado allow me to break my lease due to the purchase of a home?

You will have to pay for the rest of your lease unless you can talk to your landlord. Buying a house is a good thing but legally you are still reasponsible.
