My Dog Has A Fever And Has Vomiting. What Can I Do To Help?

My dog was left at a friends for the weekend. When we returned, we had learned that the people's dog in which our dog was staying had been taken to the vet for a fever and not eating. After about an hour, we had noticed that our dog had a fever and he vomited also. We would like to know if there is anything we can do besides taking him to the vet also?

Well the dog's fever can be treated easily but you need to look at your dog's age. If you have a baby dog then I will not recommend you medicines like Panadol. It can be risky for puppies. However, if you have adult dog then give it Panadol. Check its temperature to know intensity of fever and treat that accordingly. Giving Aspirin is also a good way to reduce fever. Fever causes vomiting, in some cases. Treat fever. The vomiting will be gone automatically.
