    The formula of Sodium Chloride is NaCl. This formula is formed because symbol of Sodium is Na and the symbol of Chlorine is Cl. The valency of Na is +1 while the valency of Cl is -1. It means that sodium gives its one electron to chlorine. Therefore, the chemical formula of Sodium chloride is NaCl.
