Each nation has its individual method of salutation. In Southern Africa it is the tradition to rub toes. In Lapland your friend rubs his nose in opposition to yours. The Turk wrinkles his arms upon his chest and bends his head extremely low down. The anchors of Morocco have a bit startling form of salutation. They travel at a career in the direction of a unfamiliar person, as while they would unhorse him, and when shut at dispense abruptly confirm their horse and fire a pistol above the person's head.

The Egyptian considerately asks you, 'how you inhaling' and allows his hand drop to the knee. The Chinese bends little and questions, "Have you consumed?" The Spanish people say, "God spirit will be in the company of you, sir,"? And the Neapolitan morally comments, "raise in saintliness." The German inquires, "How exits it in the company of you?" The Frenchman bends over deeply and asks, "How do you bear physically."?

Foreigners are given to embracing. In France and Germany the parent kisses his grown-up son on the forehead, men throw their arms in the part of the necks of their friends, and brothers embrace like lovers. It is a curious sight to Americans, with their natural discriminations in opposition to publicity in kissing.
