How Do Powerful Speakers Work?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The quality of any powerful sound system depends upon the quality of its speakers. If the speakers are of a poor quality, the system which is hooked up to it will no doubt sound awful, and that in turn will affect the quality of even the best recording, even if it is encoded on the most advanced storage device. A bad set of speakers will not yield a good quality of sound even if the deck and amplifier are the most sophisticated and state-of-the-art equipment.

Speakers are the components that take the electronic signals which are stored on compact discs, tapes and digital video discs (DVD's) and turn them back into the actual sounds that we hear. Speakers differ in design, and these differences in design eventually affect the quality of the sound. Speakers are the most interesting pieces of technology. They have a major impact of the cultures of people all over the world, irrespective of age, sex, gender, race, nationality, etc. But, in reality, they are actually remarkably simple devices to use.
