He was also carrying a bounty hunter and a gun that aimed at Annie. Then Rafe makes her hostage and bring her deep into the mountains of Arizona. Annie realizes that he is not a man who has been wounded but spiritually hurt. She cures him with her skills and while they were spending time hiding they develops feeling for each other.
