BAPTISM, EUCHARIST, AND CONFIRMATION ARE SACRAMENTS OF WHAT?

Answer Question

Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation are sacraments of the Catholic faith, a branch of the Christian religion.

Baptism is usually performed once, shortly after birth, although it can also be done in later years.

Confirmation is another once-only sacrament which is usually performed in early adolescence.

The sacrament of the Eucharist, in which believers ritually commemorate the death of Christ by eating something (usually bread or a wafer) which symbolises Christ's body, is normally performed once at each Mass, the main ceremony of the religion.

Not a branch of the christian religion...It is the Church that Jesus Christ started. The other 40,000 protestant denominations are the branches from the one true church. Just wanted to clarify.

They are the sacraments of the Christian initiation.

Baptism after birth. Confirmation at about age 7.... This represents further involvement within the local church , Eucharist to symbolise your faith in Jesus' teachings by taking the bread.
