        The longest, competitive, non-professional, singles match lasted 25 hr 25 min and was played between Germans Christian Albrecht Barschel and Hauke Daene on September 12-13, 2003 at Molln Tennis Club, Molln, Germany..

        The record for the longest, professional, tennis match was the 2004 French Open.  Fabrice Santoro took 6 hours, 33 minutes to defeat Arnaud Clement, 6-4, 6-3, 6-7(5), 3-6, 16-14.
