I love clams, and I make chowder with them. We take a trip down to Ninilchik to go clamming, and bring them all home to clean them, and freeze them, so we have use of them all year round.

I LOVE clams!!! Especially at a town that what their main thing to do is go "clamming"!!! I LOVE clam chowder, hot and thick, and melt in your mouth chunky, (a lot of expectations, I know!!!). Clam chowder is the best. Then comes when you take those stabby fork things you use in fondue, and you dip the clam meat in melted butter.... Mmmmmmmm!!!!!! YUMMY CLAMS!!!

i like them now i use to stay away from them because it was my grandfather and my favorite food and every time i ate them it would make me think of him and he has passed. but from a good friend of mine suggested to to me to eat them in his honor!!!
my husband likes them that way too!! he loves to make homemade clamcakes and they are delicious!!!!
really i don't know clam mean in my language but i can tell you about crab, calemary and shrimp and specialy shrimp if we make a deal to let me eat them then kill me I'll make this deal with you,,,you are now will not ask me if i like them?????hahahaahahha

I used to like them when I was younger, but I guess sometimes our tastes change. I did eat a great deal of chowder when I was younger.

Fried clams and New England clam chowder are my favorites. Hubby also likes Manhatten clam chowder and linguine with clam sauce.
