How Do You Get Into A Youth Football Club?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The entry to youth football clubs, or any football club for that mater, is extremely straight forward in the UK. The procedure involves making an application in writing in the prescribed form to the club. In case the application is approved the person is entered into the Register of Members; whereby he becomes a member. A person can become a member only after the Club's committee has elected him as such.

The general age groups or categories that are available for entry are under 7/8, under 9/10, under 11/12, under 13/14, under 14/15, under 15/16, under 17/18 and All Girls Teams. All members are required to a prescribed annual fee at a set date during the year. It is beneficial to make sure that the club has received accreditation from a national sports governing body.
