    I Have Exceeded My Minimum Distribution For This Year. Can I Redeposit Funds To Reduce My Taxable Distribution?

    No you can't.Your minimum distribution must come out of your IRA.After 70 and
    a half the gov't wants you to get out of the tax differed status and start
    paying taxex after all those tax differed years. I don't see how you can
    redepsit funds to reduce taxable distribution. That doesn't make sense. Funds
    going into an IRA must come from earned income.Redeposit any funds into
    an IRA increases your distribution.
