    New Construction Cleaning Requires Workers Comp And General Liability Insurance . Does This Apply If Its Just Myself And And A Co Worker.Or If I Have People Working For Me?

    I am currently working for a company cleaning new homes. She has 8 people including myself working for her. No taxes are taken from and and we are responsable for our taxes. But she also made use sign a form stating the she nor the builders were responsable for accidents. Does this mean she doesnt have to carry workers comp/ general liability insurance.If thats the case? Im going in business for myself!!! Please help?

    Signing a form means that she does not paying anything for the workers insurance. You people are responsible for yourself.
    You can start your business but you have to follow the same rule. If you want to give your workers some protection then you can sign the agreement with them that you will deduct
    the insurance money from their salaries.
