When Mice Get Hurt How Do They Repair Themselves?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

My cat caught a field mouse and brought it into me. Of course we saved the little thing from the clenches of my cats teeth. It appeared to be slightly wounded, but we decided to nurse him back to health in place of letting him die out doors. He's actually doing much better since we took him in. It's been 1 whole day, and now we have 3 field mice that are being cared for by our 3 daughters.lol  We did some research on how to care for it, and what to feed it. To my shocking surprise I couldn't believe that your not suppose to give mice cheese.
Tom & Jerry should be punished for having us believe other wise.lol
So i believe that it is possible to nurture these little critters back to health. Depending of course the extent of damage the little thing has gone through.
To our surprise they are to eat dandelions, clovers, bread, and sun flower seeds.
    Good luck with your mouse.
