    How Do You Convert Volume From 100 Per Cubic Foot To 1000 Per Cubic Foot?

    We are given a price per 100 cubic feet, and we need to express the price per 1000 cubic feet. How do I make the conversion? I don't just multiply by 10, do I?

    The correct way is to first find what 1 cubic feet really cost and then multiply it with the required number of feet.

    For example

    If the 100 cubic feet price is suppose $120 then

    1 cubic feet cost = 120/100 = $1.2

    1000 cubic feet cost = 1.2 x 1000

    = $1200
