Gallbladder stores bile which is produced by the liver. This bile help in the digestion of fats. When gallbladder has stones or it has some obstruction, bile can not be poured in to the intestine. So, fats are not digested. This condition causes diarrhea and pain. This is major cause of gallbladder removal.
So, people having gallbladder surgery, should follow a strict dietary plan for life time.
You should avoid all fatty and fired foods and red meat. Avoid taking large meals in dinner. Avoid fast foods. Increase you fluid intake, take fruits and vegetable rich in fiber,

Thank you very much. I've noticed that I have less and less diarrhea if I eat small meals. I haven't eaten any red meat since.
