I'm looking for a song title- the song sounds something like Life In A Northern Town, but has a black sound to it. MLK, jr (I believe) speaks in the chorus.

No, it just sounds like Life in a Northern Town does- it has the same type of lyric style, same tone, but these are African Americans singing, I believe. The chorus sounds like part of a civil rights speech.
Any ideas on that?

I don't have your answer but an interesting adding there is a group in country and they sing it they are called little big town. It is awesome if you like country and that song, check it out. !
